Class I
For fans with protection class I protection goal is ensured by the insulation of parts under voltage and the connection of touchable metal parts to the earth wire. The earth wire terminal is marked with the symbol for the protection class I. |

Class II
For fans with protection class II electrical appliance is ensured by double insulation. |

GS mark
For technical work appliances and ready-to-use everyday objects in the sense of the Equipment and Product Safety Act (for these products optionally instead of the VDE mark). |

ENEC marks
For commodities after harmonising certification processes. The basis for the examination are the European standards defined in the ENEC treaty. Products (currently bulbs, components for lighting, energy-saving bulbs, IT devices, transformers, switches, electric regulation and control devices, terminals, plug and socket devices, a few types of capacitators and RFI parts) that are examined on this basis are allowed to be marked with the ENEC symbol. Approval of another centre that takes part in the European certification process is not necessary. |

CE mark
The manufacturer documents and explains on their own responsibility that the marked product corresponds to the basic requirements of the EU guidelines. This label is not a certification mark for safety and quality, but complies with the market authorities. |

F mark
Indication that lamps can be installed on normal inflammable surfaces. |
