What are reversible blades?
Comet ceiling fans are all delivered with reversible blades. Each blade is finished with a different décor on the front and back, e.g. white and beech (imitated grain). The blades are made from MDF material. This makes them particularly easy to care for, they can be cleaned with a simple soft cloth. The blades are mounted at a 11° angle to ensure ideal air circulation.
The classic Comet ceiling fan has a cold-rolled steel AC motor that guarantees quiet operation. In fact, each one of the three speeds is virtually soundless so that the Comet might as well be applied in bedrooms or living rooms where it doesn’t disturb sleep or watching TV. The fan bodies are finished in plain and subtle as well as bold and dark colours. The Westinghouse Comet is equipped with a manual reversing switch on the housing to change between summer and winter mode. Thanks to heat recirculation in winter, warm air from the ceiling is forced down to the ground and helps to even out the overall temperature in the room.
Patented mounting system
The Westinghouse Comet can be mounted with and without the drop rod. The flush-mounted installation is ideal for low ceilings whereas the standard installation with drop rod is recommended for normal ceiling heights. We also offer long drop rods in our shop for tall ceilings.

Ceiling Fan Comet Tiffany
The Comet Tiffany fits interiors with dark, reddish wooden furnishings (furniture, parquet / floor), oriental rugs and leather couches. Coarse materials such as brocade fabrics or rough wall plaster further add to the retro look. Warm white incandescent bulbs or LEDs ensure soft lighting. The colourful glass shade creates wonderful lighting effects.
